I like that they open early. I came for breakfast on a Monday at 8 a.m. The staff is very friendly, and I loved the breakfast options they offer. I ordered an avocado toast and an omelet with fruit. Unfortunately, I ordered a chai latte and the server brought me a matcha instead. As a suggestion, they should double-check the order. The parking is very convenient, right in front, and spacious.

First time at this place. Didn’t have to wait too long for a Sunday brunch. Have to say that this place was a little slow on service. Took them a while to get our order in. Food wasn’t all that great. I think as a food person it was pretty bland. Didn’t have too much flavor in any of the dishes. It maybe for some people but for us it wasn’t that great but wasn’t horrible.

Food was to our liking after we order something else. First we had the shrimp and grites.The shrimp was good but the grites was not to my liking. We were able to get something else. The waitress was nice. The second order was delicious. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by Happi who was absolutely wonderful. He described items on the menu to everyone in my group. He was not only friendly but very patient. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so cute. If you are looking for a place to find some great food in a nice atmosphere with friendly staff, then Terrace Kitchen should be one of your top choices. You will not regret your decision to eat here.

I celebrated my birthday at Terrace Kitchen Friday night and had the most wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly attentive, we continued to comment on the lovely atmosphere, and the food and drinks were wonderful!
We had a Butterfly Effect and a Terrace Potion cocktails- both were beautiful and tasty. We then had the pork chop and charred salmon filet. We'd highly recommend both! I had noted the reason for coming on my online reservation as my birthday, and they recognized that as soon as I walked in. They even brought a complimentary dessert that was beautifully presented!
All of the staff were welcoming and attentive! I could not recommend Terrace Kitchen more. It's a lovely space with amazing food and staff! I look forward to my next return!

Just had dinner at Terrace Kitchen and it was an amazing experience! Javier took great care of us. The five of us had the pork chops, charred salmon, lamb chops, Mediterranean chicken, and the shrimp risotto. Flavor, texture, temperature, everything was on point! As a Durham native it's wonderful to know that we have this new place that's also minority owned.
